Join the long game

Long Game is a running club for Moscow high school students who build apps, start small businesses and compete in olympiads.

Once a week we run together at a talking pace. People come for the run and stay for each other: co-founders, study partners, friends.

Conversational pace

Easy enough to talk the whole way. That's where the ideas come from.

Nobody gets dropped

We regroup for the last runner, and the run leader sweeps at the back.

Consistency beats intensity

Showing up every week counts for more than any one fast run.

Ambition without burnout

We run to unwind from exam and olympiad pressure, not to race each other.

Founder & Run Leader

I started Long Game in 10th grade with a few school friends who didn't want to stop running during olympiad season. Word spread, and today the club has more than 50 active members.

I plan the routes, lead every run and host the monthly events.

More than a run

Once a month the run turns into an event. Members plan it, the club pays, and everyone gets in free.

Guest runs

We run with people worth learning from, and keep the questions coming all the way to the finish.

  • Alexander ChelekhovskyFaculty of Economic Sciences, HSE University
  • Alexander AksakovDirector, DOM.RF Bank

Charity theme runs

Run for a cause, then an afterparty on the club.

Run + speaking club

Practice a language on the route and over coffee afterward.

Run + brainstorm

Pitch your project after the cooldown. The group helps push it forward.

In their words

I met my co-founder on a Sunday 8K. We were arguing about pricing for her app idea by kilometer three. Two months later we pitched it at a school accelerator.

Max is the reason I started running. When I joined, I couldn't run 2 km without stopping. We met every week, always as a group, so I never wanted to skip. By the end of the summer I ran a full 10K with everyone, start to finish.

What surprised me was that Max runs at the back as often as the front. He makes sure nobody finishes alone.

Math olympiad prep was burning me out. The weekly run was where my head cleared, and I came back to the problems with fresh eyes.
